Beginning April 1st, select major appliance manufacturers are raising prices in response to the increasing cost of raw materials. Consumers can expect prices to increase 7-12%. Manufacturer's responses are summarized below.

"The increase will apply to all of our major product categories and brands. While our price changes vary by model, the weighted average increase is 8.8%. Raw material cost, fuel costs and costs associated with Federal mandated energy requirements have been rising and are forcasted to further increase during 2011." |
