I actually was a little nervous about getting the "Induction " cooktop. Only one of my friends knew of induction heat. I did not like the look of gas burners and electric heat is not as efficient. It is quick and easy to use. The best feature for me is the "lockout" control.

This was one of the appliances we had installed in our new house. We have used it several times in the couple of weeks we have been here and it has performed very well. It is necessary for us to get used to the quicker cooking times, but that is not a real problem.

Induction cooking is so much better than standard electric. This product work fine and does what it is expected to do. I recommend this product to anyone.

This induction cooktop has worked flawlessly and is very efficient. First, tested all of our cookware to ensure it was induction compatible. Had to purchase some additional cookware, making sure it was of good quality. The unit is the best electric cooktop we have ever used. The temperature is well controlled, from simmer to boiling water, and is very sensitive to adjustments. I find it very similar to cooking with gas appliances. Reading the instructions and using the 'Lock' feature allowed cleaning the cooktop without turning on any "burners" as was noted by other reviewers. Also have not noticed much noise, just a quiet humming. However, I am using quality cookware as recommended in the operating instructions. Cleaning is a chore, but it is no different than other glass cooktops. Reason I marked down quality is that the baffle holes did not line up requiring me to drill new holes. Should have been caught by QA. All in all, I am completely satisfied.

Cooking on an induction stovetop for the first time was a significant learning experience, not only with the near-instantaneous response in the "burner" level, but also the use of the non-stick stainless steel cookware. After a short time we've virtually mastered the stovetop and certainly would purchase induction again.
