Great Cooktop!

We have had this cooktop for a couple of months and wanted to really use it before giving it review. It is beautiful and has worked really well for our family. It is a great design as we love the feature of the 5 burners, but find that it is hard to use all of them at the same time. It produces a ton of heat and moving the pots around gets tricky. The difference in the flame sizes is a nice feature as well when cooking different types of items. We have only experienced two downfalls. One of the temperature knobs melted within the first week bc of that heat. Not sure what caused it, prob a pot handle placement, but we have had to be very careful since to ensure it doesn't get worse or that it doesn't happen to another one. The other issue we have noticed, is that it is very noisy when on, but that isn't a deal breaker for us. It truly is a great cooktop and would recommend. I know I gave it only '4-stars' but used the word GREAT which would suggest an excellent. Unfortunately, the mounting brackets for to hold the unit in place could be designed better. When installing it the mounting bracket fell into the cooktop underneath (inside the unit) and had to call Customer Service who graciously sent us a new one. We have granite countertop that is thick and requires you to lower the cooktop with the brackets in place. Overall, I would purchase this unit again if I needed cooktop. I would hope the engineering team would redesign the mounting if that time ever comes around. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Moved into a home with an electric stovetop. Can't stand 'em. Bought this and had it installed. Great looking, easy to clean, roomy. Love the grate arrangement on the top. Easy to slide heavy pots. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
