Keypad failure, and burning smell at one year and four days. I called the warranty department this morning, and explained that I'd used the microwave last evening, and today the touch pad doesn't respond. Told them I'd tried troubleshooting it, unplugging it, and while on the phone with them started to smell an electrical burning smell inside the unit. The person I was speaking to put me on hold for a few minutes, and I was disconnected with a recording telling me to call back since I had reached them outside regular business hours. Looking at my receipt, I picked it up on 11/26/2018, it failed 11/30/2019.

This microwave was part of a new home I moved into. It was brand new and did not last long. Will be staying away from Whirpool products in the future because of this.

Am really pleased with this microwave. The interior size is perfect for everything that I have wanted to cook, especially cooking bacon. Just wish it had a soft close feature. It does have a rattle/vibration that is rather annoying.
