This is our 2nd GE microwave and the 1st one was 10 years old the new one is built as sturdy as the 1st. It operates the same as the previous one and we love it.

The microwave is not even 2 years old and NOW the fuse blows. From online comments I learn this is common. Seems that the problem occurs when you halt cooking in middle of cycle by opening door. Ultimately, this blows the fuse. To purchase a new door latch switch assembly is costly....go buy a different microwave. Also the fan is extremely noisy.
