The dual elements will heat up even large pots of pasta water very fast [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Love my Kitchen Aid Stove

Was a bit more pricy but so far is working great, oven stays at correct temperature and everything bakes evenly. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

I love the way my new KA Convection Range looks in my kitchen. The EasyConvect feature is really great. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Not nearly as good as previous model
Submitted 11-10-20
After 18 years, our previous KitchenAid range wasn't working as well as when originally purchased so decided to replace it with a similar model. Main feature we liked on our previous model was the "easy convect" which is why we purchased this one. Unfortunately, this model doesn't work the same and is very annoying. There is no "beep" to indicate once "pre-heating" is finished and converted temperature is reached. One must "check the food before the stop time is reached and if food will not be done by set time, add more cooking time before time elapses as oven automatically shuts off." This is really annoying -- especially if the oven has already turned off and you have to reset the temperature to continue cooking. To address this, I have just been using the convection setting on its own instead of the "easy convect". I'm sure I paid extra for the conversion feature which on this model is totally useless . . . The cook top surface is also unsatisfactory -- no indication as to which burner is "on", "hot surface" light does not indicate which area (burner) is hot, entire top of range gets very warm when oven is on (especially near front by oven door). The black glass surface is hard to keep clean -- smudges very easily, marks appear on burner surfaces from pots/pans that require lots of scrubbing to get rid of even when using the recommended cleaner. (Note, over the past 18 years, I only used up 1 bottle of Cooktop Cleaner -- now it seems I need to use it every time I use the cook top.) In addition, three days after installing range, a scratch "magically" appeared on left rear burner -- no idea how it happened as not observed until overhead light turned on. I have been using the same lagostina and paderno pots and pans for years and if this was caused by sliding a pan across the burner, seems like a pretty cheap surface for such an expensive model. All in all this is not the quality and workmanship that I expected from this brand. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)
