Bought this about 2-mo. ago. Love the size, the color, and the fact that it does NOT have to be built in!! The bags have slits that line up with the buttons on the sides of the trash bin. Important to have the bag lay flat at the bottom, so that this alignment can happen. This machine holds a LOT of trash. As described, the "compacting" really happens after bin is more than 1/2 full. I am down to this bag/week vs 10 or more bags/week. So far no odors inside..and I love not having open trash bins in my kitchen! It is loud, and different things in the trash make different sounds.. But it is only for a few seconds. SO WORTH IT!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
