I bought this washer from HD and had problems within the first month with it being stuck at 8 min for a 45 min span of time. Replaced electronic panel. then problems draining- replaced drain pump. Avoid this washer. Now problems with the front gasket leaking water onto floor.

I love the look of this set. I switched from the K_nm_re E_ite HE5T. It was good but I wanted a larger set. This set is easy to use. I have not had any issues with stain as I wash clothes right away. I also use two types of fabric softners. A liquid one in the additives drawer and the Unstopples in the drum. My family loves the way our clothes, bedding and towels smell. I can add additional rinses and additional spins as needed. I have hashed two large queen comforters and had no issues. The self clean cycle works very well. We keep the washer door open after loads are finished and use a hand towel to wipe up excess moisture after every load. The only regret we have is choosing the white color instead of the onyx color. The Dryer works well, but it doesn't have to work hard as the washer removes so much of the water. I would definitely buy this set or the latest model again.

So this machine can do a lot! However it is not good at stain removal or smell removal in sweaty items. It needs to use more water. It fills up once and then will not adjust to add more water unless you pause the cycle and start it again. I have had WAY too many loads that had to be washed 2 or 3 times to get rid of smells and even stains. If they update it to add more water then I believe it will by far be the best out there.

Purchased the washer and dryer about 3 years ago. Around a year after replacing, the motherboard broke. Paid to replace but inconsistent performance. Read Consumer Report reviews on the washer. It gets a 1 star and I've experienced very similar results. Sometimes the water does not empty, other times it would just not start completely. It would turn on, make sound as if water was going to fill up then but would not. Repair people could not identify the problem because it would start working again. Now, it's doing the same thing but it's been 3 weeks, so giving up. Two technician could not repair the problem. This is the worst investment in an appliance that I've ever made. I am really particular about matching appliances so I will also need a new dryer. Plus, the dryer isn't really worth keeping. It works poorly too. I will stick to your phones and TV but will NOT purchase another appliance from you. So, glad that I had the issue with the washer and dryer before I replaced my kitchen appliances. Was so close to buying a full suite of kitchen applicance (double over, OTR range microwave, dishwasher and refridgerator).
