Water tank failure

Purchased ice maker with side tank. Ice maker would not pull water from tank so after hours with customer service, GE sent refurbed ice maker and after switching water tank to refurbed ice maker water still did not flow from side tank. Last resort was to buy new tank and it now works.

This side tank makes it much easier to fill my ice maker. It gives me a lot more runtime before I have to add more water. And adds a nice look to my ice maker.

You should put the top as opening rather than having to remove the tank and open the bottom valve to fill. I have one arm and it is incredible hard for me so usually have to have someone else fill it for me.
