Puzzling Controls

Nice big dryer with puzzling controls. There is no easy option for manually drying your stuff you have to select from number of fixed dry cycles e.g. towel bedding delicates etc. Some of cycles have bugs in them the LOW TEMP cycle for example insists on drying your stuff with high temp. Could mess things up if you dont check what the cycle settings actually are. There is a button for changing the default setting but its disabled on most of the fixed programmed cycles pushing the button to lower the drying temp on LOW TEMP cycle does nothing. The MANUAL cycle which you would think would allow you to change things like temperature and dryness doesnt do that its just another fixed program. You can generally find a cycle which will do but whats so difficult in giveng you the option to just let you select dryness and temperature. You can download a custom cycle which I imagined that you could customize to your needs but all of the download cycles are fixed you just get a wider selection of fixed cycles. Does a nice job and lint filter is really effective discharging dryer through wall into garage and secondary filter there has zero lint after 6 months. As aside if you lived where it gets really cold in winter you would also want to discharge heat into garage.

Ok we havent had this for long but we love it. I didnt know you could like a washer and dryer so much lol. Its got great settings tones speeds and connects great with the LG App. Happy we spent the money.

I bought this washer/dryer set about a month ago due to my old ones breaking one night. It took me a few days to adjust to the push button features versus my old turn knob style. The washer is huge that it fits a king size comforter comfortably without it being so jam packed.

My dryer is giving D80 code having the duct clean. Technician came trying to deactivate the command it did not work. He requested me to buy an indoor Dryer kit having a vent that is working perfectly fine. The solution is ridiculous I had to clean filter and water drawer the vent every 2 or three load even-though I tried to see if it worked I had to return it. The vent is not the problem. You guys had to solve the problem. That was the 4th time that a technician came to my house. You may need to change the computer and the door. I am really annoyed with this situation. I bought the most expensive LG washer and dryer I do not think this is right.

I bought this to replace another LG set I bought in 2008. That was still running perfect I just wanted something more modern. Well this thing drys a lot faster than my old one. The app notification are a huge plus as I can tell from anywhere that my clothes are done or if my kid is using it.
